It seems like an effect of a great material durability combined with lousy footings planning. It end up made a stumbling building without shatter it into pieces.
@actiondave, and again an american thinktank failure not every “news” is true…
thats the reason, a german “news”-paper had to remove the name news in its company name, because by law a newspaper must have at least 80% truth in it!!
Who is the construction company that built this? I don’t care if it was ‘nearly finished’ or finished. The damn thing would’ve fallen either way, and I don’t wanna be living on one of their buildings! And I thought the houses in my neighborhood were bad.
It’s real!…as i remember 1 person actually died …it was all over the news.I dont even see the foundation of that building…it’s like they just put it there
” The Wise man Built his house upon a rock, the wise man built his house upon a rock…. the foolish man built his house upon the sand…” even tho it’s a child’s church song it’s basically common sense yet so many asshole’s ignore the basic laws of “DUUUUHHH”" !!
god damn, thats crazy..that poor worker died for some wealthy person to line their pockets more. I think the state of that economy is the real fail here
actually, i thought this happened in spain? or maybe i just heard about it while i was there. anyway, it had to do with a weak foundation. still pretty funny!
I saw other pictures of this “thing”. It was built on plain concrete poles, not reinforced, about 10 inches wides and 40 feet deep. When they dumped the earth from the garage digging to the other side of the building, it created a differential in ground resistance, worsened by the heavy rain a few hours before the collapse. The resulting force of about 3000 tons was too much for the footing which broke. then the whole building went sliding and fell in the garage.
…..how the fuck can this happen? i understand demolition but this? wow
Boss: how can you fail this bad
Worker: I swear, Godzilla did it!!!
Bosss: …Your fired…
(Boss walks in to office to encounter two employees, one dressed as King Leonidas)
Boss: Mike, what the hell are you doing?
Mike: Dave told me there was no way in hell I could Spartan kick the entire structure over before the demolition in a King Leonidas costume.
(Dave looks at Mike stunned)
Boss: Get out there and pick it up.
a gworker goes out out and sees people lie in down and says U 4 GOT YOUR FUCKIN HELMETS
LOL Nocim!
I’ll huff, and i’ll puff..
wow.. if only the ‘tenants’ were still in there… that would have been an epic win. only this time Juliani DIDNT do it
This just doesn’t make sense to me, it looks like it fell over, but all the windows seem to be intact, anybody know what the deal is?
Epic fail ? i not that sure because if may fell on the ground but in one piece ! … What ever i wouldn’t live there …
shatter proof glass? plexi glass is more plausible for a cheap building
It seems like an effect of a great material durability combined with lousy footings planning. It end up made a stumbling building without shatter it into pieces.
seems to me like they built it like that o.O
Hahahahahaaha
Fake they are minature buildings not the real thing
Yeah. I agree.
you fail life. it was in the newspaper
@actiondave, and again an american thinktank failure

STORY IS TRUE
@squirter: i’m from germany and newspapers are called zeitung. there is no word like news in it.
it waas in the newspaper its just fell over cos of high winds in like japan i think
It’s real. And it was in China. Funny how people have been tricked so many times they can’t believe the real stuff anymore. Better believe it people!
Link to story: http://www.prlog.org/10273328-nearly-finished-apartment-building-falls-over-in-china.html
thats how they build their skyscrapers out there, theyre about to pull this one up XD
IF THE WIND KNOCKED IT OVER THEN…. their foundation should not have passed inspection….SO a lot of people are going to get in trouble!
Who is the construction company that built this? I don’t care if it was ‘nearly finished’ or finished. The damn thing would’ve fallen either way, and I don’t wanna be living on one of their buildings! And I thought the houses in my neighborhood were bad.
It’s in china, no inspection necessary, it is part of their population control plan, let the people move in , then big bad wolf it!
Link please to actual story!
LOL Insurance claims anyone?

The same thing happened during 9/11! A bunch of buildings toppled over just like this.
NO dumb ass they came stright down. they did not fall over.
little girl:daddy/daddy:yes sweetie/little girl:our apartment tipped over while we were grocery shopping/daddy:what?!?!
The green thing under the building looks like a circuit board
And thus the first attempt to make the world’s biggest domino chain failed at just one…
Seriously, HOW can you fail in building design like that? I’m curious about how the building remained intact though as the supports failed though.
dude…what was that?? i think the neighbors are knocking on the wall….told you to turn down the stereo man
@Nadia
Comment fail.
@the link to the website.
Spelling fail. Look closely. 13-storey apartment?
All they have to do is stand it back up I don’t see what the big deal is…It is amazing though that only one person died…
funny thing is the structure did not fall apart. sturdy bitch aint she?
umm….sturdy for a building that FELL OVER
would have to agree, how did it not fall apart
I call BS…
C’mon guys, this building was built on its side to allow the disabled access to the higher floors.
LOL… every apt is ground level..
LMFAO.
I HATE GODZILLA TOO! HE DESTROYS CITIES!
It actually stayed together well
In Soviet Russia, a buildings is constructed on it’s side, and after completion it’s turned up.
I wouldn’t say a complete fail… I mean the building stayed in one piece for the most part.
I have the best reply:
WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!
Fail
OMG the thing is DAMN tough
stuped people its a model house its fake its showing u a little town like off of beetal juice
read comments above, news article is posted. you fail
its fake, small model building or something
read also post above
I’ll just settle for lol
It’s sleeping.
Next time use super glue. It works on everything.
DUCK TAPE
why did they build it sideways????
Because they already know that it will fall. They just decided to build it sideways to prevent domino effect. (Yeah, it’s sarcasm to the contractor)
i guess everybody gets skylights
Comment WIN. I think you should be an architect.
Only the people top side. The people on the other side eat dirt! lol
The building must have fell gently
maybe it’s a new WONDER WORKS!!!
But can i still live there???
That is a skylight win on that side of the building,
Chine wins as always
*China
