If it weren’t for the Army there would be no AIR FORCE, they branched off from the army, and coast guard came from the Navy as well, so if you want to have a hierarchy then worship the Army and Navy, but it doesn’t matter because YOU ALL DO THE SAME SHIT!

He’s right that’s my HUSBAND!!!! FC2 Stillwelll and yes, he’s in the Navy. It was in Camp Shelby Mississippi late 2007. Pre-deployment training. He was going to Iraq for a year. And he passed the course. And others were worse than he was.

listen up army is a group of untrained grab ass pices of shit ..the army has a bigger budget kuz they have more people they make boot camp so easy that eny one can pass .the marines have the smallest cuz we do extensive training that will push you to the edge and then some … its like quantity(army) over quality (marines)… juss face it if eny one can join the marines it just wuldent be the marines… and were called fucking DEVIL DOGS for a reason (we were called that by the fucking germans and they only know how to kill people and make good cars)

The Marines have a small budget because we are a branch or the Navy and the Navy uses some of their money to pass on to the Marine Corp. All branches are great. Only the mature Marines/Soldiers/Sailors/and Airmen will admit this.

yeah, the US definitely doesn’t train the hardest. we have superior weaponry to many of the countries we face, but that doesn’t mean we have harder training to go through
yea, pearl harbor was one reason but they also got involved for political reasons and a few other ulterior motives but because they said that we weren’t going to get involved until we were attacked they waited. it was planned, maybe not exactly what happened but they waited till something happened. sorry sean.

Seems like army military police school. The US military uses Oleoresin Capsiconoid content of between 18-22 percent in their pepper sprays, most civilian markets including civilian police use 10%, this stuff hurts and hurts a lot. worst pain I have ever felt in my life.
The onstacle course is part of police training in both the USMC and Army police schools, its so if the officer gets hit by his own pepper spray which can easily happen when spraying in a confined space, he/she knows they can still function, know how to defend themselves, and act properly.

My unit went through this course in 2006.
Its at Camp Shelby, Mississippi, and the folks right there are in pre-deployment training. Judging from the uniforms and this guy’s particular handling of the pepper spray, he was definitely not a Marine nor a Soldier. But its still funny as hell.
Lucky for me, I’ve never been pepper sprayed (OC’ed), but I’ve seen a whole platoon of men get peppersprayed. For about an hour, big ass grown ass Infantry men were crying like babies about how much it hurt. When it came time for me to be OC’ed, my platoon sergeant told me “Hell no! You’re staying here to take care of me, Doc!” I’ve never seen a big man cry about how much the “piss of the Devil hurt.”
This training ended up being very valuable in our work overseas. We often dealt with detainees in Iraq, and pepperspray training was essential for using discretion in using it. Some say troops will be more discrete in using it, especially since it was “flowing lava into [their] eyes”. Its a pain, some have said, they wish to not bestow even upon their enemy.
Nonetheless, the guys at Mississippi are professional and keen. My unit overall didn’t along too well with them – you know, Infantry vs Military Police mentality – but as a medic, I appreciate their work!

The point is not that this man is a “pussy” because he was crying. Seriously, who gives a shit whether he cried or not? The point is teamwork. Even though he was very obviously in pain, through the teamwork and the motivation of his fellow Military members, he was able to finish this portion of the course and continue on. Any person that is willing to give their lives for their country should be given cudos, not given shit because they didn’t go through a course how others believe he should have. It doesn’t matter. He signed the papers, went through his training and onto his deployment. I’m proud of EVERY SINGLE member of the United States Armed Forces (Air Force/Marines/Navy/Army/Coast Guard) You are what define this country as a whole and I thank you sincerely from the bottom of my heart.
