This was a Warehouse Fail. every corner of those stacks should have a big metal post submerged in cement to avoid this kind of things. anyway the Forklift guy is an asshole

Rocky you=fail, racks in a warehouses are bolted in the ground with nothing more than simple bolts. With the force of a powered equipment that weighs over 2 tons hits a section, it takes out support for the rack, so by the grace of gravity, it must come down
that was bad construction. i work at a distribution center and we deal with lighter weight things and our racks are heavy bolted and have safety rails in front of the racking to prevent such mishaps. peaople hit ours sometimes too with 5 ton reach trucks and it doesnt cause all of that.

it was his fault, see his speed increase as he drives into the rack? He clearly isn’t paying attention as he is facing fowards while backing up. He failed, not anyone else

I just saw this on the news. It was alcohol, vodka and cognac. Almost $200,000 worth. Everyone was alright.

easy mistake actually… he was probably trying to swich direction to slow the forklift down, but kinda failed to hit the switch….still.. he should have hit the brakes when that did’nt work..xD

triggered a domino effect, resulting in hundreds of boxes piled high with vodka and cognac.
The incident resulted in no injuries. The damage is estimated at five million rubles (about 175000$).
