This is Gibraltar and the land area is so small that this is the only way a runway could be built. The runway isn’t used much so traffic isn’t blocked very often. There is a tunnel planned though.

I think this is Gibraltar Int’l Airport. But if you really want an airport runway FAIL, look for Congonhas Airport, in São Paulo, Brazil.

Gibraltar is at the near enuf the southern most tip of Spain , ITS PART OF BRITAIN CUS WE ARE CLASS , you can see African land from it . theres small monkeys in hills around there.

And you CAN walk across the runway, I’ve done it, although they do suggest that you pay attention while doing it.

ok,guys i live in gibraltar btw NO1 has died right and gibraltar is makeing an under ground tunnel and a new airport terminal so this fail will be no more and im glad we have this airport cause gibraltar is unique and were diffrent

the reason it is that way you dumb ass’s is because its in gibraltar you ignorant shit heads and if you google map it, you will see there is NO where else to cross into Gib, also, they are gonna build a tunnel under it because its a bitch going in to work in the morning and having to wait for a plane to land /take off, but its a cool sight.

WTF kind of airport is this? A community Airport, ok, but an airport that can handle large aircraft like this is definitely a fail.

Fail for failing this. Airfield was built during WWII tor the RAF, to keep the NAZI c*nts at bay and accomodated for commercial use in the 50s-60s. Its quirky, yes. Dangerous, no. We still to have an accident of any kind due to the logistics of it all. Kudos to the air traffic controllers for a great job and the MPs for keeping the place safe.
