If you are fighting and knock your opponent down, you let them stay down if they “give”, not viciously kick the shit out of them. If they get back up, go ahead and fight like a man. That is your opinion. I happen to disagree with you Scuba and agree with Carolina that in UFC if you knock a guy down with a punch and they still aren’t completely knocked out the referee is not going to call a stop to the fight. The referee can only call a stop to the fight if the other guy is no longer able to defend himself or if he taps out. Here are the rules for UFC:

So if you actually want to win a fight in UFC after knocking a guy down, you have to finish him and prove that he can’t defend himself anymore so the referee can call a stop to the fight. This is the way UFC works.
I do agree with you Scuba that KICKING someone while they are down is a bitch thing to do and the guy in this video was actually very respectable. Also kicking someone while they are down can kill someone or seriously injure them. That is why there is a referee in UFC and why this fight cannot be compared to UFC.
