That’s because those camera’s and lenses are probably worth thousands, and his mate probably knew this… The photographer could not have cared less about being wet, but replacing all that equipment and no fee for that day as pictures would have been ruined also :S

Photos on memory cards should be okay. If he didn’t have some back up bodies and lenses those post nuptial photos are not going to happen though. Poor guy.

I wasn’t aimed backwards he had a diffuser on the flash used to soften the harshness of the light emitted by the flash to give the shots a more natural look. I feel bad for the guy from the looks of it he lost about $3,000 worth of photographic equipment!
Actually, he lost about $11,000 in camera equipment, not to mention probably a full refund. He wasn’t shooting the flash the wrong way. It is a professional flash technique. This guy was a professional, but lacked the necessary abilities to scope out the venue. I have to say it made me sick to my stomach the first viewing…Funny part, the assistant knew to grab the equipment first! lol Poor guy, but giant fail.
