I snapped this picture with my cell phone at a Cracker Barrel restaurant in Florida.
It’s a “Custom” Chevy S-10 pickup truck. Now we know there is other uses for that crappy
wire shelving.

Not necessarily that much of a fail. If it goes down a lot of dirt roads, the grate also acts as a bit of a rock guard. I chalk this up to an inexpensive and effective fix, even if it isn’t fashionable. Considering the shape of the front bumper, I don’t think looks are high on the priority list of this vehicle’s owner anyway. IMO: a thereifixedit win.
