A videogame called Street fighter, I guess.
It’s a mix of stuff. From the ones I recognize there is Street Fighter,King of Fighters, I think that’s Sub-Zero on the back so that adds Mortal Kombat, and the fat guy on the left has a costume from Darkstalkers. I use to like those when I was a kid, after this pic. My memories might be stained and broken forever.

Whatever, this behavior has been going on at anime cons for at least the past fifteen years. At least none of them are elderly and everyone is tucking back. There used to be a regular at these things who’d call himself “the prettiest sailor” – he looked like my grandfather in stilettos and a sailor fuku. His varicose veins have been burned into my memory since 1998.
