THAT IS AWESOME. i bet you could even install backseats, and some sort of more efficient/faster driving mechanism. that is spectacular.
That would make it a car, not a bike with a badass shell.
if they figured out how to add a passenger or back seat(s) they could have more “horse power” with more people pedaling.
While you’re at it why not make it out of metal instead of cardboard, then make it run on refined petroleum and redo the interior…it kinda defeats the purpose of making a bike that looks like a Porsche, although consider applying the same idea as the one here to a light weight go-cart, i mean it makes it more expensive but still a lot less than a real one.
I wonder, do you think he’ll have to face any legal ramifications because of this?

This would be awful on a highway but in a big city where it’s always full of traffic and you can never top 20 mph you could drive this and people’d think you’re rich.
obviously he couldn’t take it on the street or the highway it’d be pretty hilarious to see that going down a bike path though

It would be interesting to know how much this actually weighs – Do the lights work – How long did it take to build and how much did it cost to build? More info please on this awesome “waste of time” as Ruth so boldly deemed it, (I personally think it’s totally creative and not at all a waste of time) Imagine you can “drive” the car of your dreams for pennies on the dollar!!! He could/should so go into business doing this – He’d have no problems finding customers I’m sure!!
He could make the doors workable or get the window to drop down so that he can get out. Or make the whole top part openable (roof + windshield and windows). Also put in a small engine in there to crank the pedals and you’re golden.
putting an engine in it would totally defeat the purpose of the whole thing, though.
Not sure it’s fibreglass, looks more like parcel tape to me and I’d hazard a guess saying that the tubing he’s used is flexible plastic plumbing pipe?
Either way, this is ridiculously awesome. Can’t image the patience that must have taken!

this is “AWSOME” I would love to have one, this is bad ass and creative as hell. I wonder how long it took to make this one or others. I can see a little company starting out and making a profit can we say The CarCycle Of The Future, hey creative minds think alike. If you only made one just for the hell of it or for fun, put it on ebay and see how many people want it you’ll be suprised on the reactions. how much are you willing to sell it determines on the money, total hrs put into it, if you spent $300-$500 then you would want to sell it for $600-$1000 the more design and the thicker the wheels the more money you can get. Think outside the box with your creative mind it will all come together. What you started as fun can turn into a world wide business if you play your cards right. think creative, think advertisement and think business and cha ching it can be that easy! I wish and hope the best in your future…T
