hey all above, the stick didnt get stuck, he was separating the drums to prevent reverb on the “unplayed drum” I hope no one pays you to be a critic. Granted that he needs a lot of work, but thats why everyone here is not in a sucessful band and if you are wtf are u doin wasting your time on an ameture???

Fair do, he’s no Phill Collins. But I wouldn’t go as far as to say he was completely awful! Have any of you tried to play the drums before? I play keys, guitar and dabble in a few other instruments, but drumming is damn hard… 2 feet and 2 hands all doing different things, arrrghh!

I used to play the drums only for one year, but if he’s a tutor then I’m a master (which I’m not).

I am just killing time here and as this man should not be teaching (period). at least he is trying. and yes meeeeeeeee, there are professional drummers who look at this crap just to kill time once in a while. some are correct, he should not be teaching unless he actually can play at a higher level. that beat is one of the simplest beats known to man. I would love to see this guy try to play any latin grooves at all! lol

I know something about drumming, I play guitar. I could school this fool on drums and I don’t consider myself a drummer at all.
The failure is his lack of ability, lack of consistent tempo, and just plain old sloppy drumming. He needs some lessons, he should not be giving anyone lessons. Not to mention the fact that I didn’t hear anything that made that a hip hop groove. There’s more, but I think that’s enough.

The drums themselves sounded awful. That is, when he actually hit the head. Hear less rin hits from comedy dive. I’ll have to agree that it was out of time, and had no feeling in the rhythm. It’s like grabbing a guitar and smacking the strings!

Having dabbled in the art of chops and grooves for the last two decades, I can sincerely say, this guy’s totally pish. He is the source of all drummer jokes.
