fwiw, Beyonce is one of the few vocalists about today who needs either none, or very little pitch correction
ps I am not a Beyonce fan per se, just pointing that out. If you’re referring to the youtube video showing her ‘live feed’, that has been confirmed a hoax.
You can hear the pitch correction on her albums…. When singing naturally there is a transition between notes, somewhat like a slide whistle does but not so pronounced. If you care to listen closely you can hear this is not what happens in her songs, the notes abruptly change; the easiest way to tell something has been autotuned.
…everything is autotuned in the music biz. EVERYTHING. Just to get the most polished sound possible.
