It’s not actually her grandfather’s. I have pictures of this headstone from the historic cemetery near my house. It’s a woman named Catherine who died in the 1800′s. I recognized it when I saw this picture because it’s one of my favorite old markers.
I bet Grandpa wishes he had been cremated and cast out to sea.
