Kid’s got some good skills for her age n all but I can’t help but think she’d rather be out playing with her friends than practising solos for hours on end in daddy’s music room. Behind almost every talented child is a selfish, pushy parent. Makes me glad I never had any talent.
You never really know… Eddie Van Halen just loved guitar, he would play till’ 3 am while his brother was out partying and shit. So no there isn’t a pushy parent behind every talented kid. If the kid actually loves music, he won’t need any pushing, I tell you from experience, never needed any pushing as a kid when learning piano or guitar, I just loved playing

zoe and other kids get trained at Newbury Rock School . teachers especially leave time for kids to go out and play out in the garden etc.,like a normal kid.

Children don’t have to play guitar hours on end to be able to learn. A child’s mind a developing therefore it is easier for them to learn at such a young age. And I don’t think there is anything wrong with her playing the guitar here and there instead of going out. Maybe it wasn’t forced on her but was her choice to play. Children all have their different interest. Some like music, some prefer to cook..ect.
