Didn’t watch the video, but it’s a black guy “trying” to play an instrument, it’s a fail. Stick to what you know. Homie.
You’re not really Amy are you….otherwise you’d maybe have realised that the complex time signatures in this, the underlying polyrhythms, the huge musical dynamic and range shown here, ‘doffing the cap’ to many different musical cultures, not to mention the melody, chord structure and song arrangement in this piece is purely and utterly a ‘guy’ at the absolute pinnacle of what can be deemed ‘musical ability’, in both classical and modern music styles…not really just ‘a black guy’, I think. Not angry, just disappointed Amy.

Apologies. I’ve since done some research and discovered that he’s actually playing a 1/4 size double bass. My mistake. Clearly i was joking Jason. My point is there are tonnes of videos of people beat boxing with cellos, flutes, guitars and other instruments online. Sure, he’s a great cellist. But his beatboxing is pretty average. Nothing special to see here. That flute guy from years back is MUCH better. Sorry for having an opinion other than ‘OMG!!!! AMAZING!’
And in no way does his beatboxing compliment his cello playing. You know what would be great? If Tony Royston Jnr played drums whilst mimicking a cello with his vocal chords. That’d be a win, right? YEaaaaaeaeaeaeaaaaeeeeaeaehh!
