Yup, he probably hasn’t used the camera, put in some new batteries and didn’t set the date. If it was an old camera it always sets the date to sometime in January 2007.

Probably camera reset after the batteries died. Anyone else know this to happen? Happened to me a lot with my old digital camera.
yeah my parents camera resets the time stamp to like 2008 when you replace the batteries its really annoying
Well they could just have not set the correct date on the camera they used. Otherwise why would they post a pic with the incorrect date so visible?

Clearly the camera just has the incorrect date set. It’s easy to solve this by simply turning the time/date stamp to OFF.
or you could check the serial number on the headstock.
Fun fact: The older the guitar, the more it’s worth, not the opposite, dumbass.
its not necesserely a lie. i have a camera and the date that shows on the pic is nerver good… its always stuck in 2008
