   I have never encountered such a stupid test question in my whole entire life which covers 5 years of elementary school, 8 years of grammar school a 5 years of university. And I don’t see the point of that kind of task. How do you want to evaluate the answer? Obviously, there’s not any right one. You evaluate the student’s opinion then? That’s unacceptable. You evaluate the students capability of having an opinion? Come on, everybody with IQ>50 can do it.
   Here, in civilized world, we teach kids so they have a knowledge and so they know how to get more of it. And we test their memory and logic, not their opinion. You americans are just bringing up another generation of fat conservative religious people who constantly fill page like this with their fails, BUT THEY DO HAVE THE RIGHT OPINION ABOUT IT.

     Well Spokk, you just seemed to fill a page with your fail. No one was bashing where you come from… Dick-head-landia is probably a very nice place! However, the fact that most of your posts bash Americans, means that deep down inside, you wish your were one of us.

     It’s not an opinion-question. It’s testing the student’s ability to concisely frame a potential answer to a general question about a current Colombian problem the solution(s) for which may have been discussed in class and/or covered in lectures. We don’t know that and can’t evaluate the reasonableness of the question without a fuller context.

     I wouldn’t call it a win or fail, but the sort of smart-ass answer I sometimes gave because I hated school. But that was just me. I’m sure the question got many good answers from students who like to get ahead in life and engage intelligently with the world around them. Some of them may go into the State Department, Defense, intelligence, or even become POTUS. Not my cup of tea, but good luck to them.
