What was the fail? From the “He’s stupid!” comment in the video, it seems like he put it in the wrong basket…anyone else know more on this story?
He put it in the opposing team’s basket.
i think the buzzer was supposed to read 00.0 seconds which would have ended the game, but the buzzer jumped to 03.7 seconds. the game should have ended.
It’s tagged ‘wrong hoop’.. I think we can assume he shot it in the wrong hoop. Good job, everyone; the case is closed.
It is a fail because he scored in the opposing teams basket as time ran out and beat his own team.
He scored in the wrong basket but he didn’t even have to score… just hold the ball and let the 3 seconds run off the clock.. they were winning by 1 point (the “Yukon” team was winning) They were the home team b/c in basketball the home team wears the white jersey. This is an epic fail for sure.
Of course it’s an epic fail for sure for people who have the full back-story, but the same rule should apply to fails as jokes: as self-explanatory as possible. Or at least someone could have done better with the single slim clue in the tags.
I’m sure it was awesome if you were there, but this is just a crappy, shaky video.
I wasn’t there, but I know enough about basketball to see, in the 2nd half of a game , you will shoot on the basket in front of your bench(as you see the other team’s bench is in front of this basket) and home team wears white. It’s how I knew what had happened. They also showed the scoreboard and it said “Yukon” and visitor with Yukon winning… I assumed they are the home team.
