Send us your fail
Something went wrong on camera? We want it. Link or file, both work.
You keep your video.
Publishing here is non-exclusive permission, not a transfer of ownership. Post it wherever else you like, and ask us to pull it whenever you want. Every submission is read by a person, and you get a reference code to track it.
Questions people actually ask
- Do I still own my video if you publish it?
- Yes. You keep ownership. You are giving EpicFail non-exclusive permission to publish, which means you stay free to post the same clip anywhere else, and you can ask us to take it down at any time.
- How long does it take to hear back?
- A human reviews every submission, usually within 48 hours. You get a reference code by email as soon as it arrives, and you can check the status yourself with that code at any point.
- Do you pay for submissions?
- No. There is no cash prize and we do not buy clips, so nothing here is a purchase of your rights. What you get is publication with a credit, and the credit stays on the post.
- What happens if my video is not published?
- Nothing. Submitting does not guarantee publication and we may decline for any reason. A declined submission is not shared, not resold and not published anywhere.
- Can I submit something I did not film myself?
- Only if you have permission from the person who did. Tell us who to credit and we will credit them. We do not publish work stripped of its attribution.
- What if the clip was staged?
- Say so on the form. Staged and generated clips are not automatically rejected, they are labelled honestly, which is the whole difference. Passing a staged clip off as real is what gets a submission declined.
Submitting does not guarantee publication, and we may decline for any reason. You must own the content or have permission from the rights holder.
